3 artists, 3 countries. Explore a notebook collection that showcases artwork by Japanese manga creator Momoko Sakura, Chinese artist Zeng Fanzhi, and South Korean typographic designer Ahn Sang Soo.
This Collector’s Box unites these three contemporary creatives from three diverse countries in a celebration of Eastern traditions. Each acclaimed artist represents their traditions through their own particular form of expressive art, resulting in three highly distinctive Limited Edition Notebooks.
The beautiful giftbox – a work of art in itself – blends the different styles on its fabric-covered exterior, while the three notebooks await discovery within.
Open to reveal a Sakura notebook with graphics by Japanese manga artist Momoko Sakura, author of the popular manga Chibi Maruko-Chan. This notebook includes a set of themed stickers and a greeting card, both with original designs by Momoko Sakura.
The box also contains two Year of the Dragon Limited Editions. China’s Zeng Fanzhi honours Chinese New Year 2024 with a dedicated work of art on the cover of the first notebook. One of the most eminent artists working today, Zeng is renowned around the world for his technical skills and expertise in conjuring emotion from his subject matter.
The second Lunar New Year notebook is by South Korean Ahn Sang Soo. A visual designer and typographer, Ahn Sang Soo received the Gutenberg Prize by Leipzig, Germany, in 2007. He has taken part in solo and group exhibitions in several countries and was asked to participate in the 2022 Tokyo Biennale.
Both these Year of the Dragon notebooks include lucky envelopes.
This special gift set is completed by a soft foulard which cleverly combines the artwork of all three artists.
